Sarah Kate Byrne
The timing could not be more perfect, coinciding with the unfolding of key events of “the season” such as Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood & Wimbledon not to mention the quintessentially stylish British summer wedding calendar. “The Season” will bring together women & men’s occasionwear brands that have ethical & sustainable manufacturing processes including contemporary, vintage, luxury pre-loved fashion & accessories.
A conversation corner will offer talks with keynote speakers as well as complimentary brands whose modus operandi is to help us all care for our wardrobes as well as care for the planet – think repair specialists, valuers, rental and re-sale & eco laundry offerings. Onsite styling & millinery advice as well as talented seamstresses will be on hand to make the event truly unique in its holistic and inclusive format.
The Good Clothes Show’s ethos will be key to the curation of this unique event. Sarah Kate will oversee the handpicked collection of clothing, millinery, handbag, footwear & jewellery brands so attendees can expect an effortless shopping experience.
Style, heritage, traditions, quality and elegance are naturally at the forefront as the season unfolds and in this day and age, sustainability should be universally endorsed and embraced in the pursuit of all these things. The Good Clothes Show recognised the need to offer an event tailored to "The Season" as a way of connecting discerning and sustainably motivated shoppers with brands with the same ethos. London, as Britain's fashion capital as well as leading international fashion hub, holds its own on the world stage & therefore makes for the perfect location for this inaugural event.
"The Season" is a quintessentially British concept. Be it majestic thoroughbreds thundering across Epsom Heath, Ascot or Goodwood's downs; sprightly sportsmen and women thrashing it out on Centre Court, across the Thames or at Lords; sopranos and tenors belting out arias at Glynebourne; impeccably tailored chaps and millinery topped ladies toasting bride & groom, "the Season" champions all creative & sporting talents as well as momentous personal occasions as well as drawing in international names, crowds and friends. Of course dressing for these key events can sometimes prove daunting. Stylist Sarah Kate Byrne will be on hand with her team to offer tips and styling advice as well as millinery pairing recommendations. Stay tuned to learn more about reserving a 1-1 session with one of The Good Clothes Show London's in-house styling team.
