The Good Clothes Show and Sarah Kate Byrne landed upon their London chapter as they identified that there was a gap in the market for sustainable occasionwear. Working together they developed the concept into The Good Clothes Show – The Season to be held on 30th, 31st May and 1st June in a prime Chelsea, London position.
The British Season in its modern form spans from late Spring through to Autumn with key cultural, social and sporting events taking centre stage. These world renowned events serve as the highlights of the social calendar and are both prestigious and historic, with many going back for hundreds of years. The season is an enduring and iconic tradition that represents the grandeur, elegance and culture of British society. From horse races and regattas to gardening shows, the events that make up the season highlight the country’s rich history and love for tradition. Still a symbol of British culture and sophistication, today, the British season is enjoyed by all as a celebration of social life, sporting achievement, and, of course, the timeless traditions that make the UK such a unique destination.
Royal Ascot held in June is perhaps the most famous event during the British season. This horse racing event, attended by the British royal family, is a symbol of elegance, fashion, and tradition. Henley Royal Regatta (June/July) is a historic rowing competition held annually along the River Thames, attracting world class rowers from around the world. Spectators enjoy watching races while enjoying picnics from the riverbank. Other notable events such as Glorious Goodwood, a five day horse racing meeting held on the estate of the Duke of Richmond in West Sussex, Glyndebourne Opera Season and Wimbledon are all quintessential diary dates of The Season. And of course, the classic English wedding party slots in perfectly within the roll out of The Season.
With The Good Clothes Show London, Chelsea Town Hall will come alive with dozens of hand-picked brands, each with impeccable sustainable fashion credentials and deliver a terrific shopping destination to those looking to buy better for their much anticipated outing in the 2025 Season!
