Student Programme brought to you by Lucy & Yak

Join Sisters in Sustainability, a collective of Black and brown women who are all working within sustainability with varying and wide reaching expertise and focus, as they talk about Finding Your Focus in the Industry. Hosted by Emma Slade Edmondson (Back of the Wardrobe), this discussion is designed to give students a sense of what can be achieved and how to find a way forward.

"At Lucy & Yak, we are deeply committed to circularity because we believe that creating high-quality clothing is not just about durability but also responsibility. We aim to make products that last a lifetime and remain in circulation, reducing waste and environmental impact"

Re:Yak BuyBack

The aim is to keep Yaks in circulation far beyond the lifespan of your typical piece of clothing, while making it easier to refresh your wardrobe, and giving you a little perk in the form of a voucher! All you need to do is pop into your nearest Lucy & Yak shop.

The scheme is available at all of our stores – we’re excited to grow our Re:Yak network and make it easier than ever for people to get involved.

Re:Yak (Im)Perfects

Discover our (Im)Perfects collection—Yaks with minor issues or defects that are still completely wearable and lovable.

Visit our dedicated (Im)Perfects outlet store, open all year round, to find great deals and save items from landfills.

You can find exclusive one-off samples at our pop-up events across the UK.

Re:Yak Workshops

Held across our shops, at festivals and events across the UK, our Re:Yak Workshops bring together talented creatives and community members to upcycle Yaks.

From embroidery to painting to lino printing and more, our workshops can inspire your own upcycling projects.

Upcycling breathes new life into old clothes, reducing waste and promoting sustainability. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting, it’s a fun and creative way to personalise your wardrobe.

Re:Yak Marketplace

A thriving community, this is the space where you can buy, sell and trade your Yaks with others.

Give your Yaks a new lease of life by passing them on to someone else, while also picking up the Yaks you’ve had your eyes on for less.

"Our mission is to create great products that bring joy and are kinder to the planet. To treat the makers fairly and have a happy team that love coming to work"
