Stuart Trevor, the founder of All Saints, sets out to build the world’s most sustainable brand, starting with a clothing brand that doesn’t produce any clothing.

Asked many times about building another All Saints;

‘There are far too many clothes in the world already, the last thing the world needs is another clothing brand – but what about a clothing brand that doesn’t produce any clothes?’ Stuart Trevor

RE-WIND – reimagined  vintage clothing

RE-SET – repurposed dead stock fabric and garments.

RE-PLAY – re developed range of essentials from stock in recycled/GOTS certified organic cotton.

The eponymous new brand is STUART TREVOR, an amazing range of clothes from recycled clothing or dead stock fabric.

‘Our clothes are reworked, rebranded, cut up, distressed, and reimagined with care – patched, printed, hand painted, sprayed, washed and embroidered, often with “less is more” in mind.’

There’s a huge supply of vintage clothing ready to be given new life, millions of metres of “dead stock” fabric either lying around in fabric mills or ending up in landfill.

‘We want to turn this ‘dead stock’ into ‘living stock’.

Stuart Trevor started his career as a fashion design student in 1985, aged 19 won the Smirnoff Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall and became the first ever designer and buyer for REISS.

Aged 28 he founded All Saints. Many of the clothes that feature each week in the top 10 bestseller list of the high street brand today were designed by Trevor over 20 years ago.

‘All Saints was my baby, I created that look from scratch, all inspired by my teenage years. That best selling biker jacket started out as a vintage find and the ramskull was my first logo design, a cross between my love of pirates and punk rock and it took over the world!’

‘Inspired by a childhood obsession with Bowie, Kate Bush & Adam Ant, I set out to create the world’s greatest rock n roll brand. I’m still on that mission and I’m determined to make it happen’

‘Now I want to create something that brings the same joy, even more pleasure to people whilst doing what’s right for our planet’

Trevor and his team started customising vintage finds, then began creating small quantities of reworked outerwear in limited edition from a small factory in East London.

‘People want to have more fun, rediscover the magic of fashion, buy clothes that will last, that have the smallest possible environmental impact. We will make this possible.’

Every 7 minutes a pile of clothes the height of Mount Everest goes into landfill, every single day, most of it cheap polyester fast fashion designed to be thrown away.

Fast Fashion is killing the planet, the world cannot afford fast fashion!

Human rights abuse in sweatshops in third world countries is horrendous, things need to change, it needs to stop!

Eco anxiety amongst children is greater than ever before, we need to do something about that. We need to ACT NOW.

It is our duty to buy from sustainable brands.

The first STUART TREVOR collection was shown at an exclusive launch party during London Fashion Week on 15 September 2023. It was a huge success with over 750 people from all across the world turning up, hanging out and sharing their favourite thoughts about sustainability, music, art, fashion, design and culture

The business plan for global expansion started in 2024 with the first round of investment, the initial response has been phenomenal and we plan to take this around the world.

People walk in our design studio and they don’t want to leave – we have created something magical, they absolutely love it and they know it’s the future of fashion.

People love fashion, we’re never going to stop people from buying clothing, we’ve just worked out how to satisfy the obsession whilst saving the planet.

It doesn’t get more sustainable than this!
