Tee Style Tribe

My name is Tendai, and I am a self-taught fashion designer living in Yorkshire. I make unique, handmade clothes using bold fabrics and vibrant African prints. I love designing and always aim to create special pieces that show my focus on quality and creativity.

My aim is to see more people wearing bold prints and also to see street style African clothing on high street. My designs have been featured at York Fashion Week

Besides designing, I also model for ITV’s This Morning, I am a Freelance Costume Trainee for TV and Drama.

I care deeply about sustainable fashion. I lead workshops with a recycling company Yowaste around Yorkshire, teaching easy ways to make eco-friendly clothing. Through these workshops, I hope to inspire others to make sustainable fashion choices for a better future.

I am also a contributor for Simply Sewing magazine where I teach step-by-step how to make your own clothes .
