From self-taught beginnings sewing clothes from her bedroom to training at the London College of Fashion, Truly has always turned her imagination into reality using her love of garment and fabric.
Passionate for her ideas to be seen, Truly delighted in setting up a market stall, launching her eponymous fashion label at London’s Portobello Road in Summer 2002.
The collection featured tailored coats, ruched dresses and matching knickers, all inspired by the Sindy doll outfits she loved so much as a child.
A move away from London in 2006 saw Truly open her lingerie focused shop and studio in her hometown of Frome, situated on the picturesque and famous cobbles of St Catherine’s.
Here the collection is designed, made and showcased in this very exciting space which Truly describes as her, “boudoir style boutique – where all my dreams come to life”.

The collection is lovingly designed by Truly, from sketching an idea to pattern and sample development, garments are made piece by piece in
Truly’s workroom and shop in Frome, Somerset. Some designs are limited edition and proudly produced in collaboration with small local sewing factories and eco-friendly printers. Truly sources the softest fabrics and trimmings, all from UK suppliers and uses recycled cottons, laces and ribbons. Creating with comfort in mind, the style is vibrant, sentimental and imaginative- a mode destined to mix and match, and a look which
celebrates colour.
