Alex Standley

Stylist & Speaker

Hi I’m Alex Standley, Personal Stylist and founder of Luxe Leopard Lifestyle.  I am a wife and mum to a gorgeous 4 year old and have 19 years experience in the Fashion Industry. Starting with my 1st class honours degree in Fashion Management from London College Of Fashion. Followed by an incredible 15 year career as a Fashion Buyer for the likes of M&S and Amazon, where I was responsible for £millions product being developed. One of my gifts is that I am an empath, and I love supporting other women to show up as the incredible women they are.

I help busy professional women and mums, who feel their style is holding them back, to reignite their confidence through their style. I help you to adopt a more sustainable and individualised approach to fashion. So that you can look and feel good about your style choices, as opposed to ‘just like everyone else’.

Whilst on Maternity Leave, I felt I’d lost who I was, was lacking in confidence and wanted to get my sparkle back! I began to re-evaluate what was important to me, and the fashion industry now felt out of alignment with my values, I wanted to use my expertise to create a more positive impact for people and planet.

I think my husband thought I was crazy setting up a business whilst sleep deprived and trying to get my head around being a new mum, but I felt this was my purpose.

Training as a Personal Stylist helped me to get off the fast fashion train and reconnect with my identity. It transformed my life. By identifying how I wanted to show up to the world, what suited my new body shape, which colours transformed and lifted my appearance and what patterns, styles and shapes fitted my signature style. I then felt so passionately about empowering other women to do the same.

I have created the Luxe Style Formula™, a series of 5 sessions where you’ll uncover your unique style personality and colour palette, and learn to own your style unapologetically. We’ll create your capsule wardrobe of dreams. Whilst educating you on how to be a more conscious consumer, the ‘right’ places to shop and how to style the key pieces in your wardrobe to make getting dressed in the morning an enjoyable and seamless experience. After all, style should be fun!
