Emerging as a prominent figure in the global fashion activism landscape following the tragic Rana Plaza factory collapse in Bangladesh, Carry is inspired by a commitment to positive change.

Fashion Revolution has grown into the world’s largest fashion activism campaign. Beyond her advocacy, Carry’s diverse initiatives include sailing 2,000 miles to investigate microplastic pollution, collaborating on a Textile Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and partnering with the British Council Argentina on Voces de la Artesania.

With a background in sustainable fashion, Carry previously founded the award-winning brand Pachacuti, recognized for pioneering supply chain transparency and earning Fair Trade Certification. Her contributions extend to the literary world, as she is currently engaged in writing a novel that delves into her rich textile heritage.

Carry’s dedication to sustainable practices has earned her numerous accolades, including an Honorary Doctor of Letters at Keele University and a place in the esteemed Business of Fashion BoF500.
